COVID - 19

Due to Covid-19, the Butchart Garden's Art Gallery will not be opening for the 2020 season. Therefore, they were not able to display all 12 of the chosen works done by Genuine Art Studio, but they did manage to find space in their Gift Shop (which is currently open) to display 4 Mini Geode paintings at a time and several petri's - a small round decorative resin objects that can be used as a paper weight or displayed on a small stand. Normally their season runs from April until October, but they are keeping the pieces in the Gift Shop right through the Christmas season which is normally a very popular time for them with their 12-days of Christmas display. They have invited us back for the 2021 season (Covid pending), and will hopefully have some new pieces available next year. To view these paintings, please take a look under the Geode Mini section above and look for any piece that states "Purchase at Gallery". Several pieces are already sold, but if you are a local Vancouver Island resident and you see a piece on the website that you are interested in, please take note of the name and call the Butchart Garden's Gift Shop at +1-250-652-4422. If the piece is available, you can purchase it in person at the Gardens. If you happen to visit the Gardens in person, you can view some of these mini's in their Gift Shop or ask them what other pieces they have available. If you live elsewhere and you can not visit the Gardens in person and you are interested in one of the Geode Mini's or Petri's on this site labelled "Purchase at Gallery" you can call the Butchart Garden's Gift Shop at +1-250-652-4422 with the name of the piece, and if it is available, you can purchase it via a Credit Card over the phone and the Butchart Garden's staff will ship it to you directly. Please note that shipping rates apply and staff may be able to give you a price quote.

In 2020, 12 mini geode painting will be displayed at the world famous Butchart Gardens on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The Butchart Gardens Art Gallery runs from April until October and features only artists from around British Columbia. The gardens have thousands of visitors each day and almost a million visitors per year.

In November of 2019, Charine's work was featured by Luxuryresidence.ca after they received a tipoff from a friend who saw her work at the Sooke Fine Art Show. Luxury Residence likes to feature local Canadian artists and Charine was very surprised and pleased to be chosen.
